Poverty Eradication (AKOWA & Manava Seva Samithi) is a major initiative under AVAG for charity social services and the programs are: Food supply for deserving needy poor patient in govt. hospitals, street people, tribal and other poverty sections (Anna Daanam Maha Daanam).
During Kerala's COVID-19 lockdown, AVAG, in collaboration with institutions, hospitals, healthcare practitioners, local authorities, and sponsors, organized vaccination camps and distributed masks and food kits to underserved communities. The initiative culminated in a mega vaccination camp at Kothamangalam Town Hall, vaccinating nearly 700 participants and declaring Kothamangalam a fully vaccinated region in India.

The initiative was spearheaded by Dr. V. Sajikumar (AKOWA) and supported by a diverse team of healthcare professionals, local leaders, and charitable organizations.
AVAG, in collaboration with various VOs, organized counseling and training programs for tribal communities, empowering participants to realize their societal value and potential. The initiative inspired them to pledge against substance abuse, adopt disciplined routines, and set purposeful goals. They also learned techniques to enhance intelligence, efficiency, and career aspirations for a better future.
The Hunger-Free India Campaign, a national initiative, works to combat hunger and malnutrition in vulnerable communities. Through partnerships with grassroots organizations, the campaign provides access to nutritious meals, promotes awareness of balanced diets, and empowers individuals with sustainable food practices. The initiative inspires communities to take collective action against hunger, fostering health and resilience for a brighter future.

AVAG, in collaboration with voluntary organizations, launched comprehensive humanitarian initiatives to support disaster-affected regions, advocate for human rights, and empower tribal communities. These programs provided essential relief supplies, legal aid, and capacity-building workshops to enable beneficiaries to rebuild their lives and strengthen their resilience. Participants were also encouraged to become active advocates for their rights and contributors to their communities.
