Our Journey

Background of AVAG: Association of Voluntary Agencies - Global (AVAG) is an international non-governmental, secular and charitable networking organization registered under the Charitable Societies Registration Act XII of 1955. The Society was established with a vision to cater to the developmental and advocacy needs of the voluntary organisations especially in India. Since its origin AVAG has been keen on promoting the fundamental needs of guidance and advocacy to the member voluntary organisations. It promoted poverty eradication and hunger free programs (food, drinking water, medicare, education and house for all), training on Indian System of counseling services, total vaccination drive, humanitarian activities, protection of human rights, yoga and meditation, Multi Disciplinary Research, science and technology, support for orphans and tribal people, online media network etc .

2008

AVAG established and registered as a charitable organization.

2015

Launched major initiatives for tribal welfare and environmental conservation.

2020

Played a pivotal role during the COVID-19 pandemic by organizing vaccination drives and food distribution.

2022

Organized impactful seminars and camps promoting awareness, skill development, and community empowerment.

2022

Provided counseling and guidance training to empower individuals with skills, discipline, and purpose - driven goals.

2023

Honored VOs and social workers for their exceptional contributions to community welfare and development.
